S.S. Ayers

S.S. Ayers is an actor, director, and storyteller from Washington, D.C., and a current Directing Fellow at the American Film Institute. She directed the world premiere of Confederates by Dominique Morisseau at Signature Theatre, earning an Antonyo Award for Best Direction (Off-Broadway) and a Drama League nomination. Stori also served as Associate Director of Skeleton Crew on Broadway and made her Broadway acting debut in 2024 in Kenny Leon’s Home. Her web series The Next Right Thing screened at festivals including Bushwick, BronzeLens, and Miami Web Fest. Stori is a proud member of SDC and Actors’ Equity, and co-founder of [RARE] Lotus Productions.
